CC Emergency Child Care open to all Bandelier families.

Hello parents,

Children's Choice will be offering limited Emergency Child Care during the three weeks that public schools are closed. If you have no other options for child care during this time, you can request a spot in this program by registering online. If you are new to Children's Choice, this is how you register:

Emergency Child Care available starting Tuesday 3/17. REQUEST care through your portal or at the link below by Monday at 11:00 a.m. You will be notified if you received a spot by the end of day on Monday.

. We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer (not a mobile device) and either Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser (not Internet Explorer).

2. Click “New Registration”

3. The first option is “Emergency Child Care Request”. Click the green button underneath to view offerings.

4. Scroll down to find your preferred location. Click “Request Care”.

5. Complete all questions and required information fields for your child and yourself. You will need to have two contacts that are authorized to act on your behalf if you are unable to pick up your child. Click “Add to Cart” when finished.

6. f you need to add another child, you can do so at this point by clicking “Add New Student”.

7. You'll now be asked create your username and password for the parent portal. Make sure to pick something you can easily remember. Click “Continue”.

8. No payments or registration fee is due at this time. Click “Continue” to bypass the payment information.

9. You must read through and check the circle next to each Confirmation Question. Click “Complete Registration” when finished.

10. You will then be asked for your electronic signature and to type your name. Click “Submit”. You will receive a message stating your signature was captured.

11. Click “Complete Registration” one more time. You should receive a message saying your registration was saved successfully.

12. Check your email for a confirmation that your registration was received. If you have questions, call our office at (505) 296-2880 or email info@childrens-choice.org.

Please note, this does NOT guarantee your child a spot in the program. You will be notified via email within 24 hours if we are able to accept your child. If you have not received an email by the end of the next day, it means we are currently full and unable to accept any more children. For the safety of your children and our staff, we have limited our capacity at each site to 30 children. As of right now, there are still spots available.

Care will be available from 8:00am to 5:00pm, starting Tuesday, March 17th through Friday, April 3rd. There will be no care available on Monday, March 16th. The cost of care will be $36/day or $135/week. If you are on a CYFD contract, care will be included in your current contract.
We will be open at all 13 of our locations. The following locations will be offering breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria: Arroyo Del Oso, Comanche, Georgia O'Keeffe, Inez, Manzano Mesa, Sombra Del Monte, and Zuni. If you are not at one of these locations, you must provide your child with a sack lunch (snacks will be available.)

Again, this program is intended only for families that have no other options for child care. If you are able to keep your child home with you or a loved one, we strongly encourage you to do so.
